Delete your SelfMirror account

Delete in the app

In a supported version of SelfMirror, use the following path:

1. Open SelfMirror and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Profile.
3. Select Delete Account.
4. Review the warning and confirm the deletion request.

Request deletion outside the app

If you no longer have the app, cannot sign in, or the in-app option is unavailable, email us from the address associated with your SelfMirror account.

Email deletion request

Use the subject “SelfMirror Account Deletion Request” and include only your registered email address. Do not send your password, authentication code, private reflections, or other sensitive content.

We may ask you to complete a reasonable verification step to protect the account from unauthorized deletion.

Data associated with the account

• Account, profile, and onboarding information.
• Module progress, daily activity, meditation sessions, and reflection records.
• Weekly or monthly mirrors and generated account insights.
• Clarity posts and account-linked replies, subject to any safety or legal requirement.
• Session requests, notification records, and registered device tokens.
• The related authentication account, where technically applicable.

Information that may be retained temporarily

We may retain limited information when reasonably required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our rights. Data may also remain temporarily in protected backups until normal backup rotation completes.

Processing time

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. We will contact you if additional verification is needed or if applicable law requires a different process.
